Limits and retention
cpcp has one free tier today, and transfers are not throttled. These are all the current limits; future plans are not presented as current features.
Current limits
| Item | Current limit |
|---|---|
| Text | 64KB |
| Single file | 100MB |
| Files per parcel | Up to 20 |
| Parcel total | 200MB |
| Pickup window | One hour; storage is cleared within 10 minutes after |
| Successful pickups | Up to 10 |
Retention and deletion
Files expire after one hour and can no longer be picked up; the pickup code stops working at the same time. Storage is cleared within 10 minutes after that and cannot be recovered.
There is currently no way to delete an individual parcel early. Write to hello@1tools.vip if you need help.
What is not included
- No long-term storage, cross-device sync, or version history.
- No end-to-end encryption; files sit briefly on the server.
- No resume; if the connection drops, upload that file again.
- No account system and no SLA; the service is best effort.
- No installed app; sending and pickup happen in a browser.
Why these limits exist
The limits match what a browser can upload reliably while keeping a free service affordable. A fixed limit is easier to verify than a promise that looks large but often fails.
If a file is larger, needs long-term storage, or needs sync, a cloud drive is a better fit.
